Get Ready.
We're choosing 12 special artists to join us at Glassnote Studio Sessions in May of 2025. These artists will come to Essex, New York in the Adirondack Park to spend a week creating alongside highly skilled and experienced producers and co-writers in the middle of the woods. Each artist will write two songs to then be produced and made radio ready. Our chosen artists will receive private artist development consultations with Patrick Ermlich, a highly sought-after music marketing expert. They will work with vocal coach Kristy Bissell in private lessons to master their voice and further develop what makes them unique and special.
What you'll do...
Below we discuss what you'll actually be doing while at the camp. There will be time each day to exercise, work on songs on your own, and explore your forest surrounds, but below we discuss why you're actually applying.
Mentorship Classes
Your highly experienced mentors will start most days with hour long classes on songwriting, production techniques, mixing and marketing. You will become a well-rounded musician, capable of ensuring the work and brand you put out is always top notch. Classes will cater to all experience levels.

Writing Sessions
You will work with mentors each day in two hour co-writing sessions to complete two tracks during the week.
Vocal Coaching
You will work with renowned vocal coach Kristy Bissell to master and challenge the vocals techniques you already posses. Kristy will work with each artist individually over five days to develop their unique and special sound.
Recording in a studio
You will record in the beautiful new Glassnote Studio in Essex, New York. Artists will have main and backing vocal recording sessions, guided by their mentors, for the two tracks they write.
Artist Development
You will have one-on-one artist development sessions with expert Patrick Ermlich who will work with you to develop your brand, goals and help you come up with a plan to tackle the new music industry as an independent artist.
Production sessions
You will have private studio sessions with your mentors to work on the production of your tracks. You will discuss genre, inspiration, artistic direction, similar artists and song references that will shape and guide your unique sound. After the retreat finishes, your mentors will communicate with you to complete the production, mixing and mastering of your tracks.
